What is this device?

We offer two router models: a compact USB dongle and a high-gain version that supports external antennas for areas with poor coverage. The main function of these devices is to enable 4G Wi-Fi connectivity for all GalaxyVend units, allowing them to interact with our SaaS backend for remote management and control.

Key features

  1. The device has its own built-in switched-mode power supply supporting a wide input voltage range, making it suitable for power from MDB, commercial vending machine transformers, or other sources:

  • Supports 9 to 36 VDC (polarity insensitive).

  • Supports 7 to 24 VAC.

  • External SMA antenna support.

  • Internal Wi-Fi antenna.

GalaxyVend 4G Wi-Fi router

  1. Facilitates 4G-to-Wi-Fi communication, allowing GalaxyVend products and third-party hardware equipment (such as Raspberry Pi, Android tablets, and mini PCs) to connect to our SaaS backend. The system converts string-type protocols into JSON and supports MQTT via WebSockets.
