What is this device?

The RFID reader can be connected to the core board across a wide range of applications, working together with various GalaxyVend expansion boards. It allows you to integrate MIFARE Classic serial number reading into your applications. This facilitates customer identification by ID, adding closed-loop cashless payment functionalities, limiting daily transactions, and much more.

 

Key elements of the RFID reader

  1. A dedicated reader designed for integration with the GalaxyVend mainboard and the following expansion modules:

  • GalaxyVend MDB to Executive converter (for developers)

  • GalaxyVend MDB slave to USB serial (for developers)

  • GalaxyVend MDB master to USB serial (for developers)

  • GalaxyVend self peripheral board

  • GalaxyVend keypress simulator

  1. Our proprietary protocol allows reading the serial number (SN) from different blocks.

  2. Compatible with any MIFARE Classic medium; you can use your own cards, tags, and tokens or purchase them directly from us. For example, you can integrate your employees' existing access control cards.
