What is this device?

The key elements of GalaxyVend self peripheral
1. Interface for ccTalk Hoppers
- Supports up to 3 hoppers, which can be assigned to any configured product (1 or 2 hoppers per product).
- Supports independent working modes for each hopper/product combination (Automatic Mode Detection, Standard Mode, or Cipher Mode).
- Individual payout quantities can be assigned to each hopper for every product.
**2. Alphanumeric LCD Interface*** - Supports a 2-row, 16-character LCD (included).
- Displays messages in English or Romanian. Additional languages can be added via firmware modification upon request.
3. External Power Supply Connector - Required if ccTalk hoppers cannot operate at MDB voltage (e.g., hoppers requiring a dedicated 12VDC input).
- Input voltage is selectable via jumpers (MDB Voltage or External Voltage).
4. Small Relay Output Connector - Rated at 100mA / 24VDC with N/O dry contacts.
- Functions as a cash or cashless operated timer for various applications (self-service, access control, turnstiles, etc.).
5. Payment Method Selection - Dedicated connector for choosing between cash or credit card interfaces.
6. Change Request Input - Supports change-giver integration to return change on demand after each transaction.
- Note: The controller operates exclusively in Multi-Vend Mode.
7. Product Selection Connector - Supports up to 8 product selections; each product can be defined with its own unique characteristics.
8. USB-B Interface - Used for firmware updates or connecting to an Android tablet (sold separately; 7" and 10.1" models available).
- Our proprietary Android app enables touchscreen operation.
- Vandalism Protection: The tablet can be mounted behind reinforced glass and operated via external mechanical buttons (similar to ATM-style contextual physical buttons).
GalaxyVend self perihperal board possible applications

1. Token Dispenser/Change Machine (with ccTalk hoppers):
- Each product can be configured to dispense a fixed number of coins or tokens from one or two different hoppers (e.g., for €5, dispense 1 coin from the hopper at address 3 and 2 coins from the hopper at address 4).
- Each product definition supports independent communication for each hopper; therefore, different hoppers from various manufacturers can be used together.
- In the event of a hopper error (jam, communication failure, empty status, etc.), all products linked to that hopper will be automatically deactivated.
2. RFID Subscription Dispensing and Recharging Machine: - Dispensing RFID tags (MIFARE Classic tags, sold separately).
- Recharging RFID tags using the optional RFID reader (sold separately).
- Recharging is only available when connected to our SaaS backend.
- The same tag can be used across all controllers provided by our company, allowing for either separate balances per machine or a unified balance for the same customer."
3. Relay Timer

- Can be used for self-service applications (e.g., pet grooming machines).
- Can be used for access control applications.
4. Unified Transaction Flows for All Product Types - Customer selects the product.
- Customer selects the payment method (cash or card).
- Customer performs the payment.
- Products are delivered if the payment succeeds.
5. Configuration Application - Available for Android via USB connection between the phone and the controller (the Android device must support OTG functionality).
6. Optional Android Tablet - Can be attached to add touchscreen functionality or to provide a richer user experience.
